Every Love Alight piece begins with materials chosen for their quality, safety, and alignment with my values. I work closely with trusted UK suppliers and small independent businesses, selecting components that support clean burning, responsible sourcing, and a gentle environmental footprint. Each decision — from wax to wicks to packaging — is made with intention, ensuring that every product feels considered, safe, and beautifully crafted.

Our candles are poured using a natural coconut–rapeseed wax blend made here in the UK, with ingredients sourced from within the UK and EU. This vegan wax burns cleanly and evenly, offering a soft, consistent scent throw without paraffin, palm, or animal‑derived ingredients. It’s chosen not only for its performance but also for its low‑impact, sustainable profile. The fragrances I use are high‑quality blends from reputable UK suppliers, all fully IFRA‑compliant and supported by detailed safety documentation. Each scent is crafted for clarity, stability, and a clean burn, with no harsh additives or unnecessary fillers.

For diffusers, I use a vegan, non‑toxic, low‑odour base produced in the UK. It’s designed to release fragrance slowly and steadily, evaporating cleanly while meeting strict UK/EU safety standards. The diffuser bottles themselves are ceramic, hand‑painted with water‑based, non‑toxic paint, and fully reusable — and refill options will be available so they can be enjoyed again and again. Instead of traditional reeds (rattan or fibre) the scent is diffused using natural sola wood and pure cotton, biodegradable and highly absorbent, allowing for a gentle, consistent diffusion of scent without synthetic fibres.

Every candle is finished with sustainable wooden wicks, including Lumentique‑patented crackling booster wicks. These wicks are known for their clean burn and steady flame, pairing beautifully with natural wax blends to create a calm, atmospheric glow. The vessels that hold each piece are ceramic and hand‑painted using water‑based, non‑toxic paint. They’re designed to be reused long after the candle or diffuser is finished — simply wash gently with warm, soapy water to begin their next life, though they’re best kept out of the dishwasher.

Packaging is kept as minimal and low‑impact as possible. All boxes and sleeves are produced by small UK businesses using recycled materials, and everything is fully recyclable. This approach supports local makers while reducing waste and keeping the unboxing experience simple, thoughtful, and aligned with the heart of the brand.
