ABOUT ME

Love Alight began as a quiet idea — a way to bring more intention, calm, and sensory connection into everyday life. A few years ago, I realised I needed a different kind of work, something steadier and more in tune with how life was shifting. I wanted to move toward something meaningful and grounding, a way of creating that felt connected to who I was becoming. That slow transition eventually led me here. In January 2023, Love Alight took shape from a desire to make pieces that support, soothe, and bring a sense of ease into the everyday.

My journey into candle and diffuser making grew from a fascination with how scent can shift a room, soften the mind, or anchor you back into yourself — but also from personal experience. For years, shop‑ bought home fragrances, even the high‑end ones, would give me headaches or feel overwhelming. It made me pay closer attention to what was actually in the products we bring into our homes. Research from organisations such as the UK Health and Safety Executive notes that certain fragranced products and household chemicals can

release volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which may contribute to indoor air pollution and interact with the body in different ways. These findings encouraged me to create something gentler, safer, and more aligned with how I wanted my home to feel.

What began as a personal creative outlet became a practice of crafting objects that hold space for grounding, reflection, and gentle ritual. Over time, that curiosity turned into a craft — shaped by research, experimentation, and a commitment to using materials that are non‑toxic, low‑impact, and aligned with my values. Love Alight is the result of that process: a collection designed to feel gentle, grounding, and quietly transformative.

Everything I make is created with intention. I work with trusted UK suppliers and small independent businesses, choosing materials that support clean burning, responsible sourcing, and an eco‑friendly footprint. Each vessel is ceramic and hand‑painted, each candle is poured in small batches, and every diffuser is blended and assembled with care. I want every piece to feel personal — something that brings warmth to a space and supports the moments you carve out for yourself.

Love Alight is more than a product line; it’s a practice of slowing down, reconnecting, and creating small rituals that bring you back to centre. Whether you’re lighting a candle at the end of the day or placing a diffuser in a quiet corner of your home, my hope is that each piece offers a moment of calm and a reminder to breathe a little deeper.
